I believe life should be enjoyed. For me that means a life of clean living and a lot of time with family and friends. I'm not your typical girl. I don't like drama unless it has to do with theatre. I love outdoor stuff like camping and float trips on the Buffalo River. I enjoy hiking and the beauty of nature. I don't love shopping like most women. I enjoy clothes and stuff, but the act of shopping brings feelings of dread rather than joy for me.

I love the gospel! I strive daily to be better and to live it better. I love the scriptures and how much they influence my life. The primary song Scripture Power is one of my favorites because I know that scriptures really do give us the power to change our lives and be better. I love my calling. I teach the nine and ten year olds and they are great!

I like to be around positive people who care about me. I'm interested in men who are kind. I'm not a particularly chatty person and I generally don't find a car ride filled with silence awkward. I enjoy meaningful conversations. I like to be around people who think that good personal hygiene is an everyday part of life and not something to be feared. I don't expect anyone to be someone I want them to be, I'm not looking for a someone who I can change. I want someone who is happy to be who they are and happy that I am who I am. I may not at first glance seem like the kind of girl that most guys want to date but that's ok because most of them are not who I want. I want someone who is kind and who can see me as Heavenly Father sees me. I have a lot to give, I'm honest and loyal and generous. I don't play mind games or try to manipulate people. I'm definitely worth a second glance.

I studied theatre at BYU and I love the theatre arts! I graduated almost four years ago and I'm very lucky to work in my field. I work in the wardrobe department at a theater in Branson, Missouri and I really enjoy what I do. During the summer I also have the opportunity to paint faces as a second job and it's a blast because I love creating and I love discovering and developing new talents.

I also love music. I love to sing. I've been learning the piano for years and I want to learn to play the guitar so I can accompany myself. I also have a Native American flute that I want to learn to play better. Music will always be an important part of my life.

So, truth be told, I'm kind of a nerd. I love Star Trek! I would never go to a convention or anything, but I love watching it. In addition to being a nerd, I'm also attracted to nerds, not so much the pocket protector kind who are allergic to everything including water. But even if you are that kind of nerd, I'm pretty open minded and willing to get to know you before I make any final judgments.
