For the past 8 years I have dressed in my US Navy world war two uniform and walked in our local Armed Forces Day Parade. It is the nations largest parade commemorating our military. My buddy in the picture with me has been in the parade for over 30 years and he comes here from Missouri.
I have my own sole proprietor business as a general contractor but specializing in small remodel jobs and home repairs. This keeps me busy 2 - 4 days a week. And to break the monotony I have recently got back into roller skating once or twice a week but very carefully.
I am currently an ordinance worker in the Seattle temple. Have served a mission as a young Elder and also a mission with my late wife. Have served in nearly every calling in the church including Bishop. That was in late 80's.
I currently am one of the ward clerks where I have served for about four years and recently released from scouting after years of serving.
Like a lot of us I think I have a " normal" personality, whatever that is. The photo posted is of me at the Washington D.C. temple last year for my grandson's marriage.
My wife "graduated" 2 1/2 years ago. I have come to feel it would be nice to have a companion who is in somewhat the same circumstance where we could be mutually blessed.
