This is a first, so off come the training wheels...
I was born and raised in Seattle, all my family lives there. I recently moved back to Bountiful for the 2nd time and have no plans of ever leaving Utah. I love it here.
I'm a convert to the church in these latter days. I have a strong testimony not only of the truthfulness of the gospel, but for the power of prayer. I've witnessed and experienced miracles first hand. To know where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going is a huge comfort, and blessing. It's nice not to be aimlessly wandering like a nomad anymore!
I absolutely love people, whether it's meeting, watching, joking with or helping them. I've been told I'm very witty and have a dynamic personality. Laughter and fun are key to me, and if I can't make fun of myself what good am I? I'm also innocently nosy, and like to talk but am a good listener as well.
I have compassion for others, I'm loyal and forgive quickly.
I don't have a lot of fear... well...except for spiders, and scary movies. But I'm not afraid to check what "that sound" was in the middle of the night OR to give my daughter a mani-pedi.
I have four crazy cool kids who are athletic and whom I dance, sing, have water gun fights, wrestle, play hide-n-seek, cuddle, hike, backpack, camp, and pray with. We like our music loud. (Must be a Seattle thing). We aren't afraid to cry at sad movies. But never in baseball!! We are a big baseball family. I coached and was the Director of the league for years. So that would classify me as a competitive guy. But not the crazy living vicariously through your kids guy in the stands!! So yours are more than welcome to join in on the fun.
Life is too short to for worries, so I choose my battles wisely. I'm very optimistic, but not unrealistic.
I think it's better to be humble than to be humbled, I've been both and life seems to go a lot smoother with humility.
And that's a wrap... Thanks for stopping by!!
