Growing up in different parts of Utah, I have met some truly strange people but I am confidently 99.9% sure that I’m not one of them.
I have had to come to terms with the fact that my taste in music is a little eccentric. I love classical music but not country. I love jazz but not cheesy '90s Rock Ballads. I listen to classic rock but not a lot of newer alternative rock. I enjoy extreme progressive instrumental heavy metal but not rap. Also, ska is fun.
I will graduate with my Bachelor's of Science in Accounting next spring, and plan on pursuing a graduate degree in mathematics so that I can become a university mathematics professor. Math is definitely one of my passions and I have always seen myself as a math teacher since I was young. I love applying math to situations that are not related to math whatsoever and seeing people have those "Aha!" moments when something finally clicks.
I have been described as "tenaciously mellow" and I enjoy almost anything - life is an adventure and I find adventures in the day-to-day moments. I have been blessed with a veritable cornucopia of gifts and blessings throughout my life, with one notable exception - the talent for sports has eluded me for as long as I can remember. As a result, sports has really not been a huge part of my life aside from the occasional observation of a game from time to time.
Lastly, but most importantly, I am very committed to the church and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I plan on creating a Christ-centered home with an eternal companion and being thoroughly involved in the church throughout my life. I am actively working towards becoming the husband and father I know God wants me to be. Although His timing is turning out to be slightly different than I had expected, I know there are things I can do and people I can help while I am still single. I hope you will take the time to get to know me a little if I reach out to you!
