I'm a well rounded, intelligent guy with sharp sense of humor but who takes serious things seriously. I find fun and humor in everyday things. I can be soft spoken or the center of attention depending on the situation. I enjoy most everything from hiking and running, to libraries and the symphony. I thrive on kindness and thoughtfulness and can do all the necessary guy things like take charge, chop wood, and fix things. I am a professional with a great stable job, a home, and a cat. Don't worry; I'm down with dogs too.
I'm an avid reader, especially of history. Besides running and hiking, I like to shoot, play basketball and play the classical guitar. It really doesn't matter if you like to do all those things too. I'm not so much looking for someone who matches my hobbies exactly. I'm looking for someone who can appreciate something if only because it is important to someone they love. THAT is what I think marriage is all about. Laughter is important to me and I get great satisfaction sharing my sense of humor and making people smile. P.S. There are few things more romantic than a good conversation.
I grew up in Maryland, around Washington DC. I served a mission in Utah and have lived in Utah for pretty much the last 12 years. I miss the history of the East, but love the freedom and outdoors here in the West.
The Gospel is the guiding force in my life. I'm looking for a true companion who has the same spiritual goals as myself. I truly wish to be a husband and father and am looking for someone who desires to be a wife and mother. Too bad I have to come out and clarify that up front, but I've found it is easier if I do. Good for you if you had the patience to read this whole thing!
