Hey there! Well, to start off, I'm not very good about these "Get to know you" things, but I shall try to condense everything and try to get all my thoughts out. First off....I absolutely LOVE sports. I'm a huge baseball (Angels all the way!!) and football fan (Indianapolis Colts, baby!), I love racing from Drag races to Nascar, I'm all for it. I can't get enough of it!
I'm also a Disney Nut. Disneyland is my home away from home. You ask me my favorite princess, and I will flop between Belle and Rapunzel. I love Belle's good nature, her compassion and love she has and I love Rapunzel's strong will to follow her dreams.
I love to dance and sing. I used to be in show choir (before it was cool) in high school and competed all over southern California. I miss is terribly. I love going out to the clubs and dancing the night away with my best friends.
I love to get out to meet new people. However, I tend to be shy first starting out, but once you get to know me, I don't stop talking and can be pretty hyper.
I'm currently looking into Vet school. I want to become a Veterinarian Assistant. I love love LOVE animals! Dogs are more of a passion than Cats, but I still adore cats. However in this case, dogs outweigh the cats in my heart. I have a 2 year old Maltese/Poodle named Cupcake. Yes. Cupcake. :D She is my fur-child. I love her with every ounce of my heart and then more. I guess you can say I'm a little obsessed about her. If you get me on the topic of her, good luck in trying to get me to stop, ha ha. I only have one request. You must like her, and she must approve of you if we ever meet. Because if our relationship progresses and she is not fond of you, that's going to be a hard one to fix.
Anyways. Moving on.
When I get older, I want to travel. I'm a HUGE renaissance buff and I would love to go and tour Europe, but mostly Ireland because of all the beautiful castles. That and I feel very connected because I use to Irish dance, and my favorite color is green. :)
I'm currently in the process of training for my first half marathon. I will be running in the January 2014 Disney World Half marathon with my best friend. Weight has always been an issue for me. Motivation was never in my dictionary until last year. I am not ashamed to talk about it. April 2012, I teamed up with my father and we both under went Gastric Bypass. Ten months later and 80 pounds lighter, I've realized just how much my health means to me now. I'm motivated to go next year to Florida and run through the Disney Parks side by side with my best friend and experience my first Half Marathon. It will be a life changing event.
My family is everything to me. Without them, I'm not sure where I would be right now. I love kids, I'm starting to get the patience I need to have my own one day. My niece has total control over my heart and knows how to play on it to get her way.
I'm very open, very honest and will tell you what I think (if I'm not too shy to say.) I'm down to earth, I love going camping, wandering around in the woods and just going off on random adventures. I love just staying inside and snuggling down to watch something with someone. I'm a very caring person and will do everything in my power that I can, to make sure my friends are happy and stay that way. Don't be shy to just say hi, I promise I won't snip or snap. I'm not that kind of girl. I know where I've come from, and I know my parents raised me better.
I'm just a girl looking for her Prince Charming so we can embark on our Happily Ever After. :)
