Hi there! I am a smart, sassy, sarcastic girl with a deep spiritual side. I can find humor in any situation and have learned it's much easier to find the good than dwell on the negative. I consider myself to be an adventurous person. I love to travel, meet new people and see new things. I speak fluent Spanish and am very into linguistics. I am an educator by profession. Education runs deep in my veins and I love teaching and learning. I am a mother to an amazing daughter. When I grow up I want to be just like her. I'm a very grounded, down-to-earth and independent girl. I also know how to be a supportive, affectionate partner.
I am a mostly "blue" personality on the Hartman color personality code. I am also a big fan of Chapman's Love Languages. My primary love languages are Quality Time and Physical Touch. I'm not perfect at relationships, but I"m learning. Aren't we all? :) I am grateful for the lessons my divorce have taught me and so thankful for the opportunity of a second chance at life. I'm not looking to be "rescued" nor am I on a "rescue mission" myself. I'm looking for a tall, meaty, grown-up, smart, spiritual, masculine man to make me belly laugh on a nearly daily basis. So if you've got it, by all means, bring it!
I have strong gospel roots. I was raised in a strong, gospel-oriented family. I'm grateful for opportunities in my youth to "rebel" and find out for myself that the church is true. Those opportunities, along with the good examples of my siblings, led me on the path to serving a mission for the church in Ecuador. I'm so grateful for my missionary experience because it was HARD and taught me so much about what it means to be a member of the Lord's church.
It is important to me to have a partner in the gospel and to be equally yoked with that partner. I'm not perfect, nor do I expect perfection but I do expect not to have to carry around a dead weight . A firm testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is kind of a big deal in this marriage business as is obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. I believe that all children are deserving of a worthy priesthood holder in their home and if they're not getting it when they could/should be...well...that's just a deal breaker. I need a guy who knows how to pull his own weight as well as somebody who can keep the covenants he has made, cause, ya know, those covenants are pretty important.
