Hey there. I’m John and I am originally from California but have grown up in Utah pretty much my whole life. I love the mountains from snowboarding to backpacking. I also enjoy shooting guns and I build motorcycles when I have spare time.
I am currently working on finishing up my degree in Medical Laboratory science and work in a lab. My goal is medical school, so I am getting used to the idea of being poor for another decade. I love helping people and the sciences. I am the kind of friend that you can call at 3am in the morning because your car broke down and once I find my socks I am out the door.
The Gospel is my lighthouse in the storm of life and I love it! I am not perfect but am willing to give it my all. I was blessed to serve my mission in Boston speaking Cambodian to my fellow brethren and I loved every minute of it. I want to be a senior missionary that shows up with his wife on the back of his Harley.
So if I’m not the garage wrenching something, I may be shooting; if not that, look in the kitchen because I may be trying out a new recipe. Being Asian, food is a huge part of my culture. Sundays are best spent with my wacky family enjoying dinner together and wrestling my nephew. Mother, sister, and cousin taught me to hold doors for ladies, buy her flowers, and ask her (not text her) for a date.
