Greeting from Remixed09:

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my profile. Let me tell you a little about myself. We can start with the basics and then get into the good stuff.

I am originally from Texas and have had the opportunity to live in various states and countries. I call Dallas home though and while I’m extremely happy living in Salt Lake City I do miss Dallas. I try and get back at least once a year.

I served my mission in Osorno, Chile. Southern Chile has the craziest weather ever but it made my mission fun and unique. I loved the opportunity to really, truly dedicate 100% of my time and effort to the Lord. I will never forget the impact the people of Chile had on me and my gratitude for their willingness for me to benefit from serving them. Hopefully it was of benefit to them as well. It was a great experience for which I am grateful. I’ve been back long enough that I can joke with newly returned missionaries about “walking uphill both ways in the snow”. I left on my mission before the bar was “raised”, preach my gospel was introduced, dear elder.com was invented, and before you could teach by the Spirit (haha…tongue in cheek of course). I loved those discussions and flip charts. Anyway, enough about that.

I got my undergraduate degree from BYU and my Master’s in Business Administration from the U of U. Both schools are exceptional but I do cheer for the Utes. I have a whole reason why and it probably isn’t what you would guess. If you’re interested in knowing why I picked the Utes over the Cougars in sports feel free to ask.

I have a career working in Management for a fortune 100 company. Since it is a career my job is demanding and keeps me busy. I love my job though so it’s all good. I have global responsibilities in my role and I get to work with A-W-E-S-O-M-E colleagues all over the world. I am one of those few people who are lucky to be happy with their profession and career. I’m excited to see where the opportunities take me.

As for things I enjoy to do. I am a city slicker. I hate to disappoint the avid outdoor enthusiasts but I casually interact with the outdoors. I am more of a once a year camping kind of guy. I do enjoy getting outside to grill, to hike, to play tennis and other sports, and to exploring nature’s beauty at our gorgeous national parks. As you can imagine I spend more time doing the indoor thing. I love to go to restaurants (old favorites and new places), to watch the Jazz play at Energy Solutions, to watch movies, to read, to play games (card and board), and especially to see performances (concerts, plays, comedy shows, etc.). I am fortunate to get great sponsorship tickets from my company often which provide memorable experiences. Salt Lake City has a ton to offer and I really enjoy experiencing the city.

I am an active, participating member of the Church. I take my Church and Priesthood responsibilities seriously. I put the Lord first even above work, family, etc. I am confident in my faith that putting the Lord first will result in all other aspects of my life (work, family, etc.) being blessed and prospered eternally. This is incredibly important to style="font-weight:bold;")me. I will go where I am called to go. I will serve how I am called to serve. I want the gospel to be central in my life and the life of my future family. I am looking for someone who shares these similar views and (Span style="font-weight:bold;")has the gospel first and foremost. I’m not a fanatic but I do live the gospel as best I can. I’m not perfect obviously and don’t expect others to be perfect. However, I do expect myself to work at my faith, live my covenants, and strengthen my relationship with our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ daily.

I mentioned that I am from Texas which means I date a little bit different than most others. I am straightforward and honest. I don’t have a lot of rules or requirements. I don’t like to follow a lot of rules or requirements. I want the process of getting to know potential companions to be fun, spontaneous, and exciting not worried about if I called too soon or too late after a date.

This is going to sound funny but I really just want to find someone who loves the Lord, is normal, has a vision for what they want out of their life and their own family, is working to fulfill that vision, that understands relationships are fun but hard work, who is willing to be a partner in a relationship, and that wants to give as much as they receive. If you are that person send me a message. I’m willing to try if you are. (BR( span)/)

One last thing to mention. I give people I date the benefit of the doubt and I look for the same of people who agree to date me. We are going to have some differences of opinions, we will inevitably do something annoying or frustrating, we will say some comment off the cuff that wasn’t serious or well thought out, we will run into scheduling issues, trips that separate us for a time, prodding friends and family, etc., etc., etc. If you’ve been in serious relationships you know what I am talking about. What you need in moments like those is to give the other person the benefit of the doubt (within reason of course, I’m talking about the occasional miscommunication or difficulty and not the frequent miscommunication/difficulty) and have the understanding that no relationship is perfect 100% of the time. I’m a firm believer that if you have marriage as a goal, an understanding that relationships aren’t perfect all the time, and a willingness to give the other person the benefit of the doubt that you can make that relationship work. And, it will be such a fulfilling, loving, lasting, fun experience to be a part of. Anyway, I’m going to get off my soap box. I’ve just seen too many great relationships get ruined from unrealistic expectations and an unwillingness to accept that a relationship with someone is fun but hard and requires some flexibility and work. Nothing of any importance can be gained without hard work and some sacrifice.

Well that is more than enough for now. I feel slightly vulnerable and exposed…haha. I am on this site for a reason and it is to find my eternal best friend and companion. If you think we have an opportunity to explore that between us than please reach out and we can start an adventure.
