I am a warm brown-eyed Quality Assurance Analyst - originally from the shores of O’ahu – and have been transplanted to the hills of the Deep South. Heaven, and the winds of providence have blown me to the several corners of this nation and overseas. My mind is filled with the memories of salty air and Hawai’ian sunsets, rock faces overlooking the Mediterranean, tropical forests in Sao Paulo, and the sand dunes of New England’s coast line.
My roots are planted in the soil of the gospel of Jesus Christ. From one side of my family tree I have inherited the best traditions of testimony hard fought-for and won by pioneers who gave their lives for what they believed. From the other I have been taught of the quiet assurance of faith found by those who believed on the words of God’s messengers. Last of all… I know – for myself – that Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Redeemer.
I have been blessed to have helped in bringing four beautiful children into the world. Though they are far away from me right now part of my soul will always be with them. I still see their faces in every beautiful thing.
I sway with the ebb and flow of Edvard Grieg’s creations and I am entranced by the beauty of Clair de lune. Mendelssohn moves me to tears, Stravinsky ignites me, and Ravel brushes my lips with a smile. Can you tell I like music? While reading Shakespeare I sometimes feel the same way I felt standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon for the first time. Wow!!
(br (/b/)I devour any news of astronomy I come across. I love books by theoretical physicists though I can’t quite grasp the math. Geo-politics is a hobby and I love to think and talk about great-big things with my tiny-little mind. To this day I stand in wonder while looking at the night sky.
I seek a partner… a companion with whom I can learn what this life has left to teach me. I seek to be a part of - and stake my life for - something much bigger than I am. Sweet companionship, challenges, romance, and peaceful days... together with the occasional chaos found in a growing family – these are things I would gladly welcome into my life.
Welcome me into yours.
