Aloha! I'm a California girl attending BYUH on the beautiful island of Oahu. I am somewhat shy, but once you get to know me I have a quirky sense of humor. I enjoy laughing a lot (its the quickest way to my heart besides books) and have very recently joined an improv club. I love silly jokes and old screwball comedies, most classic film genres really.
I am happily driven to distraction by family camping trips with my sister, her two kids, and a couple of other families from church and have missed them a lot since moving here to Hawaii. We usually go for a couple of nights (in the fall because we're all nuts) to hike, play, and roast peeps. Ah peep roasting, I am happy to report that is a tradition I started and which has continued in my absence. :)
I served in the Montana Billings Mission in 2000-2001, and it was amazing. The members were fantastic and most everyone was very friendly. And the western part of the state is virtually unrivaled for mountain views.
Random tidbits that are random and tidbity: I am a San Jose Sharks fan, I love soup, I will try most food once, I will never jump out of a perfectly good airplane, my favorite show growing up was Doctor Who, I think the book Treasure Island outshines all the film adaptations by a factor of a bajillion, I am not a fan of frosting, pistachio nuts, or horror films, and I greatly dislike folding clothes.
