Hello, my name is Elizabeth. The best way to describe myself is that I am a curious combination of a vintage loving, sewing, domestic with fairly traditional views on the world and a forward thinking, independently minded scientist.
I am currently studying Biology with an emphasis in Biotechnology and minoring in Chemistry (though that used to be Clothing Construction) at BYU-I.
I love reading, anything and everything from classic literature to sci-fi to biographies to scientific research papers (I kid you not).
I believe that any relationship should be an equal partnership and that neither party's abilities or capacities should be undermined due to gender.
I will just say outright that while I do take care of myself, I AM NOT and athletic person, nor am I overly fond of sports.
I love the outdoors and nature, (especially the beautiful green found in the NW) but in more of a read my book outside or open all the windows to let in the fresh air type of enjoyment. I'm not really a "hey there's a mountain, lets climb it" kind of person.
I heartily enjoy intelligent conversation and sometimes debating, but I'm also a sucker for terrible puns and cheesy science jokes. I am just as likely to curl up on the couch and watch a documentary as I am to watch an action movie, chick flick, or classic black and white film.
I can honestly say that without the Gospel in my life I would be a very different person and I am, and I am so very grateful that I was blessed to have this truth and light in my life. I'm not perfect, but I try my best and I expect others around me to do likewise because the Gospel is my life and not something I will ever leave.
