What I do:
I am a Teach for America Corps Member teaching precalculus, geometry, and 'college preparatory mathematics' at a magnet high school. Previously, I was a graduate student at Ohio University focusing in the philosophy of science and the philosophy of mathematics. My undergraduate degree was in philosophy at Southern Virginia University with minors in politics and mathematics. In my free time, I play the cello, train for a marathon, or participate in some other type of sport.
I am goal-driven, passionate, and organized in my pursuits. I am analytic when it comes to problem confrontation and problem-solving. I am generally a very happy person and love to laugh and talk with friends. I especially enjoy outdoor activities including biking, hiking, running, volleyball, etc. I also enjoy listening to good music, playing board games, and just having fun.
