Greetings!!!
I am taking a break from this site. I have some personal issues and an agenda that needs my immediate attention. Good luck to all, and may the blessings of heaven be poured down upon you.
The lights are on, and now there is nobody home!!!!!!!!!!!
Time out, time to go four wheeling in the desert!!!!!!!! I don't have a passenger, so my dog 'Belle' will have to fill in and be the substitute. See you soon!!!
Hi, I made it back safely, and my dog, Belle had a great time. I would like to find a passenger that has better communication skills, than Belle. LOL
I have wide range interests as outlined in the "Interests" section. In addition to the information outlined. The church is very important to me, and I have a very strong testimony of the gospel. I attend my church meetings every week, unless I am called away on business. When I am not able to attend my meetings, the week seems to have a void (a hollowness) and is lacking in direction.
I enjoy spending time with family and my 5 grand-kids. (Four in PHX and 1 in SLC).
I have a great sense of humor and will use it without warning!
I, like alot of people have lived and learned. I am still learning and hope to learn much more. Hopefully they will be positive and not negative lessons. I also expect to live life to its fullest
There is more about me under this old hat than I can put into this greeting, so contact me and we get to know each other. We can start a friendship and see to where it proceeds.
At the present time I am temporarily helping my mother adjust to the passing of my father (Oct. 2012). I do home repairs, yard work, errands and help with fixing meals. There will be a time in the near future when it is expedient for me to move on, when my mother has adjusted. This is in addition to my regular work schedule. Being single it is great that I can help make her life a little easier and smoother.
On a side note:
I was at dinner with my son and his family at a restaurant. My granddaughter (age 7) made a comment about me and my marital status. Well my son and I clarified that I was single. About 15 minutes later she turned to me and said, " Grandpa, you need to get you a woman". Then about 30 seconds later she says, " There is one", as she points to the waitress. ROFL
So maybe my grand kids know more about me than I think.
So lets give it a chance. Maybe my granddaughter is right!A change of my zip code is a possibility for an eternal companion. Besides it is not as important 'WHERE' I live, rather it is more important to have that special person in my life and for eternity.
A small risk is the first step to a potentially eternal reward!
