I uh...have a cat, or two. No really just two. I know what its like to have too many cats. Not because I've owned too many cats, but because I am a registered veterinary technician, so I see loads of people who have quite a number of cats.
Wow. Great intro. Moving on.
I am currently finishing up my bachelors in animal science at UC Davis. I will be graduating this fall (2013). I also have three associate degrees before that. One of which is my Veterinary Technician degree...No I am not a vet. Although I was gunning for vet school, but alas I am kind of burned out and decided to call it quits after I get my bachelors. I've decided that I need to do other things besides school all the time...like date and stuff. It has been great fun though and I wouldn't change it for the world. I have always believed that everyone should experience college one way or another. It has definitely helped shape the path of my life in a good way.
Well other than that I can be rather timid at first, but once I get going I've been told I can be quite enthusiastic. Also I am a bit of a nerd (yup...I admit it. nerd. right here). I play the occasional video game when I have time, but my all time favorite game is the Legend of Zelda. I also admit that I have a few zelda related items. I am not a major collector kind of person though. I don't like cluttering up my space. Uh...I also like Anime (ahh the nerd bit just keeps getting better!) So I am always up for an anime marathon.
I also play soccer and it is my favorite sport to both play and watch. I've been playing since I was five. I've even had ACL knee surgery and I still refuse not to play. I'm so stubborn when it comes to soccer. I've also done Choy Li Fut Kung Fu for about five years, but had to stop when I went to Davis. Had to free up my time for school somehow. If I had the time, money and people to go with I would take up snowboarding. I've been once in my life and I actually made it down the mountain alive. It was a beautiful thing.
SOooo... I guess I'm hoping to meet someone who doesn't mind nerds and animals. Animals is definitely a big thing for me. I mean, I've worked in the vet field for 9 years now and I take it seriously. It's my career after all. Don't worry I draw the line at two cats though. I don't think I could handle any more than that at home. I'm also hoping for an outdoor buddy. I am seriously itching to go camping and hiking and all that fun stuff. Aside from all that I am perfectly fine with the going to movies, bowling, and min golf actives as well. Just as long as I get out of the house every once in a while.
I am a strong believer of the gospel and it has literally saved my life in multiple ways. I can't go a day without thinking of it and I can't go a day without prayer. I certainly could never see myself walking away from it no matter what anyone says to me about it. I have been blessed and as such I am making an effort to move forward in the church so that I may be able to move forward in life. One factor I am never willing to let go is settling for anything less than a temple marriage. I guess you could say I have set my sights on it and will never look otherwise.
