Hello and thanks for taking a look at my profile!

I have a good life and I am very blessed. I love the Lord and do my best to live His will.

I am a professional and I work hard, but work does not rule my life. I am fortunate to work in a field that makes me employable almost anywhere in the country. This allows for lots of flexibility in my living situation and I have taken advantage of this and lived many places throughout the country. I have enjoyed making friends and getting to know the different geographies.

I fancy myself a writer - although novice. I write fiction and non-fiction. I play with short stories and enter writing contests about 4 times a year. Also, I have written educational pieces in my industry and although it's a small contribution, I enjoy that part of my work.

I have a great passion for music - both participating and listening. I like different kinds of music, although Jazz and New Age are most frequently playing.

In my 20's I played sax professionally and have played with many famous people. I have a lot of fun memories from that part of my life. I still play every now and again - I don't want to ever give it up completely. I would play more if there were more local opportunities.

I enjoy movies; action/adventure and chick flicks are my preference there. I am a huge James Bond fan and "You've Got Mail" and "French Kiss" are my favorite chick flicks.

I also enjoy reading - a well done romance novel (few and far between) or more preferable, a good action/adventure novel will keep me entertained for days!

My favorite vacation is to go some place beautiful (many choices available) and then have nothing planned - just do whatever feels good. On vacation I don't want to have to worry about the time. Time haunts me enough every day in my regular life, so I really don't want to think about it on vacation!

The best vacation I ever took was to Jackson Hole, WY. I spent my days hiking locally, seeing Yellowstone and walking to town for a good dinner in the evening. I took lots of pictures and spent time writing.

I also enjoy visiting the beach, since I used to live at the beach. I miss the magic of the ocean. There is something enlightening about nature and the big, blue ocean brings me peace and a fresh look at the world.
