I have always been the type of person to follow my passions. I have loved running since high school. Almost all of my closest friends were once teammates in high school or college. Running has been a huge part of my life. I worked at a running specialty store for 10 years, got my undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise physiology, I have been coaching for 7 year and I was a competitive runner training to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the marathon. Then...I got an Achilles injury and surgery which kept me out of the running game for a couple years. That time away from one of my biggest passions was good for me. It helped me discover other interests and make new priorities.
I can run again and I still coach, which is probably my greatest passion at the moment. On the side, I work in cardiac rehab at UV Regional as an exercise physiologist. I know how to work hard, play hard and relax hard.
I would describe myself as an authentic person and that is what I look for in others. I am a coach, disciple of Christ, nerd, athlete, and adventurer. I like who I am and I looking for someone who can say the same.
