I was born in Honolulu, Oahu and raised in Kailua and have lived here in Hawaii all my life (except for when I went on my mission & while at BYU Provo in college). I've served a mission to Japan (Tokyo South Mission) back in 1979 - 1981. I attended BYU-Hawaii for a couple of years then transferred to BYU-Provo, UT and finished my BS Degree of Business Administration w/ a Business Computers Minor (1986). I currently live with my youngest son, who will soon be going on his mission (about 2-3 months). My oldest son graduated from BYUH, is 25 yrs old and is happily married. I have two daughters, the oldest graduated from BYU Provo and is currently working in Provo. She is 23 yrs old. Next, my youngest daughter just graduated from BYU Hawaii and is 22 yrs old. I raised them (with Heavenly Father's help of course) most of their lives and I'd never trade places with anyone else in the world! They are my joy. I thank the Lord each day for my wonderful blessings. When my whole world came crashing down (what seemed like), I realized I had the power to make my bad situation worse or a learning one! Boy! What power comes from an attitude of gratitude! You can either be bitter...or better! Even when you believe there should not be much to be thankful for and you are at the lowest point in your life! All you have to do...is thank our almighty God for the trials you are experiencing! Well, enough said. I love life and the scriptures. So, like many of you...I'm searching for my eternal companion.
