Hi! I've changed this greeting thing 3 times now because I wasn't sure what I was supposed to say. After having spied a few profiles (maybe yours!) I'm ready to give this greeting thing another whirl.

So to begin, my name is Amber. Interesting fact: when I was a kid I hated my name but it has since grown on me, and now I rather like it. I am just about to finish my Associates degree in history and I plan to continue my studies in it and get my Bachelors. People always ask me what I am going to do with a history degree, and I tell them whatever occupation happens to pop into my head at the time because honestly, I'm not going to school for a job, I'm going because I value an education. Whatever job opportunities come way will be great I'm sure. In any case, my true desire is to be a wife, mother, and homemaker. I come from a large family and I love them dearly. I look forward to having my own someday.

I am a goofball with a very gentle nature. I like to bake, cook, read, hike, go for walks, listen to audio books, watch football, and I LOVE going to the movies. I am a very sociable person, though I can take a while to let my guard down.

I have a deep love for the gospel but I have struggled at times in expressing it. I know it is the key to my happiness and I have a strong desire to have it be a part of my daily life. I want a husband who will walk beside me and lead our family in the gospel. The gospel has always been there. It has always been a source of stability in the chaos that is life. I know I can always lean on my Heavenly Father through rough times and that He constantly blesses me with what I need.
