Truth be told, I am very sceptical about meeting anyone on-line, but I have an account here just in case. I'm here to update events being held in our Stake as I run our stake SA web site and like to keep it up to date. If you are in the Oshawa Stake, you really should come out to events. That's the best way to meet someone. Institute is held every other Sunday evening at the Bowmanville Chapel and it is always a wonderful time. Our teacher is great, we have a lovely time socializing and of course there are always snacks.
We encourage you to attend regional temple days, dances, and education days. Please get involved. It doesn't even matter if you never meet your soul mate on this side of the veil, being active and involved is important. I've made some great friends, male and female, through our Stake activities. And I promise, those of you who are timid, that no one is going to "jump all over you" - well most people won't...there are of course the odd members who lack social skills and are just plain rude, we all tend to avoid them.
I am looking for a funny, intelligent, hard working, worthy, temple attending, faithful man.
Deal-breakers - rudeness, neediness, ego, being divorced multiple times (sorry I can understand once because we all make mistakes...but multiple times really sends a woman's alarm bells ringing).
I expect you to be working. I expect you to be young enough to not need a cane to walk or an oxygen tank to help you breathe. I expect you to live on your own and not with your mother! No pokemon collectors, no one allergic to dogs - I will pick my dog over you because she is loyal and loving and my protector. She's big. Be prepared! So, must loved dogs.
I have a great job. I own my own house. I have a wonderful family. I have great friends. I am healthy and active. I enjoy the outdoors. I love reading and movies and photography, music, singing, and temple attendance. I enjoy cooking and gardening and genealogy. I would like to meet someone who is active, artistic and fun.
I love to go to the dog park, take my dog for walks, I love to go camping - especially at the Thomas S. Monson camp with my friends. However, I am beginning to think that it's time to graduate from tent to trailer! lol! I love winter time. I love walking my dog in a snow storm. The only people outside are dog walkers!
I hope to hear from you. Take a chance and drop me a line.
