If you're happy and you know it sing a song. Love the outdoors. Put me on a mountain and I can see a lot farther than when I'm on the ground. Give me a puzzle to solve and I'll work on it for hours on end. I can focus on a project for a long time as long as I am passionate about it. Proud dad and grandpa. I prefer the peaks to the valleys but realize they and everything in between are all part of life. An avid learner of the art and science of leadership.
Seeing what my options are here and so far I'm liking what I see and am glad there are LDS women here on the East Coast and even some that aren't too far from me! Although if Mrs. Right lives near Yosemite I'd have to investigate the possibilities. :)
I'm forever grateful to Heavenly Father for the Testimony of the Gospel He has given me and for his infinite patience and loving kindness. He is the Ideal Father, the One I have always turned to, and return to, when I am reminded of who I am and why I am here; Instead of getting distracted by the mists of darkness. Recently my mom had a stroke and isn't well enough to come home, nor is anyone sure if she will or not, but I've been thinking a lot about Providence and what it used to mean when the word was used. That there are no coincidences, that everything happens for a reason, even if in our finite condition we can't see it; we trust in the Providence of God that His plan is being carried out for our eternal welfare.
My perfect companion...loves to sing, loves to learn and is willing to share what she has learned and is able to teach it. She has the ability to see the best in me even if I don't. She likes the simple things that life offers and wants to eat healthy and does most of the time. All my children are grown and so I'm enjoying watching them have children of their own now. I am Temple worthy. I hope we can find the harmony in the notes we have to sing while we still have breath. :) Maybe she'll even read this and see that man she's been searching for as well.
I've been doing a lot of Family History work lately clearing several names a week for Temple Ordinances to be performed. I can feel their strength and love for me from the other side of the veil as I do this important saving work for them.
