I am a tom boy with just the right amount of feminine touch. I grew up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern California so I love being outdoors hiking, camping, backpacking and most water related activities. I love to snowboard, even though I am not the best at it. I am spontaneous at the right moments and can come back to reality when needed. I love to laugh as well as make others laugh too. I decided to try doing some races this year so I signed up for the Tough Mudder and Color Run here in Chicago to start.

I am currently working in an emergency department at a level 1 trauma hospital. We get the worst of the worst brought in. Yes, my job is depressing at times and the stuff I deal with on a daily basis most people can't handle. I do not let this job get me down, and I know that the gospel and plan of salvation plays a huge role in this. I am also in school working on my BSN and plan on continuing further and either getting my NP or CRNA. I know that the medical field is where i want to be.

I am a single mother to an amazing little boy who is my life. He has shown me the joys of having the church in my life and I love watching him grow in the gospel. I know that the sacrifices that I am making to provide for him are only temporary until I graduate and start my career. I know I could not be doing this without my Heavenly Father in our lives.
