Kalia was born to a band of outlaw Eskimos building a giant laser that they hoped would bring warmth and beach tourism to their frozen riverside town. Taken away by Truckers, Kalia spent most of her youth in Edmonton playing soccer, jamming forks into light sockets, and building 'American Gladiators' style obstacle courses in her back yard. Today Kalia serves as an event coordinator in Calgary, AB where she will one day run for mayor on a "Pecans are Delicious" platform and win in a landside. She hopes to someday have someone name a sandwich after her.
Okay, now let's get real... There are so many things that are dear to me. The Church is at the top of that list. It encompasses everything else that I hold dear. My family - with the hope and faith that we will all one day be sealed as a family forever. The aspirations I have for growth and knowledge, and the plans to further myself into what the Lord would have me be. These reason’s and so many more really do make the church a HUGE part of my life.
I am very creative and I love to laugh and make others laugh. In the summer I am a fan of sitting under a good tree with a good book, the winter you will find me skiing. Other times you may see me in the kitchen cooking up a storm and dancing. But my biggest passion is movies. To say that I love them would be an understatement. I love everything about them and do not just limit myself to chick flicks.
I do feel strongly that there is a “best time of year” for movie watching... to find out when that is you’ll have to get to know me a bit more.
