I’m totally a kid at heart, pretty spontaneous, love things with a passion, and have pursued any serious dream that I have ever had. I’m as easygoing as anybody that you’ll meet, but I’m pretty focused on what I think matters. I don’t exist in the comfort zone so if you are looking for someone to make you feel secure or to sit on the couch with every night, I’m probably the wrong guy. I recognize that’s made some relationships difficult in the past but there is so much out there in this world to do.

I like setting life aside when it needs to be, and getting out there to live with and learn from others. Call it travel, living, or experiencing, whatever. I’ve backpacked, hiked, biked, or walked all over the world. Running yle="font-weight:bold;")has been a big part of my life, both for the fitness and the challenge it brings and I love traveling to run a few marathons each summer. I get to the gym here and there, but have never worn a pair of those tight stretchy pants. :-)

Although I’m into grabbing life, there are things in my personal life that never change. I’m a father first; my family defines my personal life. The church has been my rock and I work hard on keeping it that way. I’ve had the same job for 18 years and have been lucky enough to have picked one early that I love. I believe in loyalty, my friendships have lasted a lifetime.

I’m looking for a relationship that brings even more depth to these things. I don’t believe in a couple living out life next to each other. I’m looking to live it together. I’m interested first in having a good time and getting to know people.
