If I wasn't in Oklahoma working on my career, I'd be trekking through the jungles of Costa Rica or Africa, or exploring the windy streets of Europe. I love to travel and will take any excuse to go somewhere new! Currently, I am a business management PhD student studying organizational behavior, with the goal of teaching at the collegiate level once I graduate. That means I spend most of my day doing research (staring at a computer), going to class, and teaching undergraduate students. It's a good time :)
Well, a little bit more about me. I grew up in a small town in Utah, and then went to school in Virginia where I received a degree in business management. After that I worked for a few years and then I decided it was time to go back to school. I received my MBA and immediately started working toward my PhD at Oklahoma State University. I love the school and the professors that I work with, and I was very blessed to be given the opportunity I have to be here.
Additionally, I love reading, watching movies, traveling, and having new adventures. I will try just about anything once! I love to laugh and I like to make other people laugh, too. I like dry, witty humor and I can be a pretty sarcastic person. I enjoy running, but I only run for fun (meaning running a marathon might kill my enjoyment of running!), I like some outdoor activities like hiking, boating, biking, but I also enjoy cultural events, like festivals and museums, and I love the theater, especially musicals. I think I would do well in a show-tunes trivia game :)
I’m an open-minded person and can get along with most people. Yet, there are some things that I do have pretty strong views on. I would say that I’m not only committed to the gospel but I also love it, and it is a top priority to me.
I'm really not sure what else to write, but I'm open to any questions/comments.
Thanks for reading!
