This I Believe…
I believe there are many things I have learned
For those things are not measurable to put into terms(B( span)r /)I have learned my ABC’s
And I have learned to count by three’s
I have learned the colors of the rainbow
And how to read with accuracy and flow
I have learned to write without lines
I have learned to stand along and shine
I have learned to grow by my faith
And I have learned to quietly and patiently wait
I have learned the colors and the shapes
But I still haven’t learned not to procrastinate
I have learned to cook and to mend
And I have learned to love and to lend
I have learned that trials will surpass
But most of all, I have learned to laugh
Although there are things I have in time(BR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: yellow" )Some things I would change, being compassionate to others as well as being kind
Regretful words and deeds I have done
Word battles were fought and I had won
Whatever the case of winning before
My conscience has always won the war
However the number of regrets there will be
I have always found happiness, joy, and glee
Fun times with friends and family too
Unforgettable memories, hilarious and true
But I’ve learned who I am and what my purpose is
I know I’m a daughter and a servant of His
I am sure that his life is a test of my faith
Because of the comfort the Spirit conveys
I know we are here for a very short time
The choices I make affect the eternity of mine
I know that God’s plan is one of happiness and truth
I am glad that I have it for strength as a youth
The righteous shall come forth with a conscience so clean
With a heart so pure, not a bone could be mean
Each child on this earth has a special purpose, you see
I’m beginning to realize mine and work on me
I love that we have a plan we can follow
For his love helps me continue on to tomorrow
His plan is so awesome when realize what’s there
The blessings it brings we cannot even compare decisions
And yet here we are making decisions for life
Hoping and praying we are choosing the right
