I am passionate about the gospel. The gospel is the most important thing to me, especially since my family is included with that. I think that if there was one thing to define me it would be my love of the gospel.
I come from a great, fabulous, loud, fun family that believes in feeding groups of great, fabulous, fun people.
I watch Swamp People and don't read the subtitles. I was raised in New Orleans and I'm "Proud to Call It Home." (It's a New Orleans thing.)
If I had my choice of vacation, it would be the beach every time. The only thing that would trump a beach vacation would be Paris. I have not been yet, but I will go one day. Okay, so I also love going "home" to New Orleans, camping and the mountains, but the beach would always be first choice, besides Paris or New Orleans.
I am always up for a fast-paced card game, and if you want a challenge, I've got mad skills at Dr. Mario. I also love Jeopardy and plan to win lots of money on the show (one day - I apply every year!). I really enjoying dancing - Latin, Hip-Hop, Country Swing, etc. - but it's ok if you don't.
I am a life-long learner. It is something I learned from my mom, and I hope to pass this on to my future children. Right now I am working for an insurance company, but in August I'm starting Nursing school (for a 2nd Bachelor's degree) and plan to become a Nurse Practitioner. I got my first B.S. from USU in Public Health. When I was thirteen, I read The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton and I knew that I wanted to help people improve their quality of life through education and prevention. Deep and profound for a 13 year-old year, right?
I once reattached my car bumper with bobby pins and a hair elastic. Random, but true. And it lasted until I traded in the car. Take that, MacGyver! Seriously though, my parents taught me to be resourceful, and it really defines me.
This was fun. We should do it again sometime. Send me a message.
