I'm looking for someone who is fun to be with & has a great sense of humor...who can also be serious when necessary. I want someone who is my best friend, my confidant & the love of my life. Someone with a deep respect for the Lord and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Someone who respects his Priesthood and uses it to bless his family, and doesn't abuse his authority. Someone who will treat me as an equal partner & will respect me & my opinions.

I don't have any children of my own, however, I do have 2 step-children from my previous marriage, who I still keep in contact with...but, given their current ages & the stage of life they are in, I don't see them very often. (One is on a mission & one is in college.) I am open to being a step-mom again, so if you have children, I'm OK with that.

I am VERY interested in having a family of my own, so I definitely need someone who is interested in having children (or more children)...which quite possibly might need to happen through adoption. If you're not open to that idea, please don't waste my time.

I love traveling & sight-seeing. I enjoy hiking, camping, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, kayaking/canoeing, etc. I love nature & some of my most favorite vacations have been to National Parks. Back in my college days I did a lot of mountain biking & trail riding. I'd love to get back into that...perhaps on a bit milder terrain than I used to tackle though! =)

I enjoy playing volleyball, swimming, yoga & Pilates. I also love crafts, scrapbooking, family history, board games, cooking/baking, reading, and singing. I also enjoy art, music, theater, museums, etc. I wish I had the time to actually DO all of those things on a regular basis though!

I am extremely active in my ward, and my calling (R.S. Pres.) keeps me very busy. I'm looking for someone who is just as active and involved in the church as I am, who loves to serve, has a firm testimony of the gospel...and lives it!
