So, first, be warned, my sense of humor is . . . oh, shall we say, warped!! And by "warped" I mean think "Family Guy" warped. Yeah, I said it, I like the Family Guy, and I still have a testimony. It CAN happen!!! Of course when it comes to me trying to make people laugh, I cast a wide net, and not all of the things I say are winners, but what the heck, if it makes 'em smile a little, I am all for it.
Of course, I am also a confident man who is also caring and nice. They say nice guys finish last, and I tend to think that women appreciate that. (see what I mean about "warped") It is so hard for me to tell all the things that I like and dislike in a paragraph like this, but here goes nothing: First, I love my two kids!!! I am such a push over as a dad because I'll do just about anything for them (and that includes going to McDonalds on a regular basis). I like to have fun, but I also enjoy relaxing. Its a nice way to balance my high stress job of being a prosecuting attorney.
I play the guitar, and although I find it fun to play cover songs with some of my friends, I really enjoy writing songs. I can usually tell when I am in a solid relationship because the creativity really flows and I am able to write songs much more easily. I also like to write creatively, and started a website for just that purpose at ThePointOfQ.com. Its just something I do to try to be funny. I think it would also be fun to try stand up. (Hows that for a combo, a stand up comedian lawyer who plays guitar in a band.)
I believe in taking relationships at a normal pace. I don't like to drag my feet, but by the same token, rushing things, or being pressured to rush things is the quickest way to raise a red flag with me.
I have had experiences in life that have given me insights into my own sense of spirituality, but I am always learning and I try to keep an open mind. I am by no means perfect, but I try to be a good guy. I swore I would never do the online dating thing, but what the heck, its after midnight as I am writing this, and the credit card was handy.
Oh, and I put absolutely zero stock into those "Compass" compatibility reports. They're fun, but if I am not going to let humans set me up, I am certainly not going to trust a computer program. (Unless the programmer was female and HOT!!!!!)
