I am a man who likes to be at home and am a true DIY guy. I maintain my own home and like to create useful items from metal and wood. An example is a sauna I have always wanted, started with building my own saw mill. The sauna is great! I also like to do things outside my comfort zone to get those endorphins going. Swing dancing, the fair, a local theater show, maybe a hiking or canoe trip, maybe just window shopping, or dinner out. I have not done any of these things in over 4 years and am looking to do these things again.

I like to bake and cook, usually simple meals. I love children and have on nephew in CA. I have two German Short-haired Pointers that are my kids and bird hunting pals. Grouse hunting is truly my passion. Well maybe I should say walking the dogs in the woods is my passion.

I lost my job last year to foreign competition and have landed a great job here just outside Portland Maine, however willing to move to a new place.

I am looking for that special someone that I can open the door for, leave a note in there lunch, maybe a Hershey kiss on the dashboard or their car, however each contribute to a relationship sharing goals and loving each other.
