Greeting from HopefullySomeday:

I first want to say that I love to attend the temple and have made it a central part of my life since receiving my endowments in the spring of 2016.

I'm a person who believes in being vulnerable because that is the only way to let people see the real you. So, what you see is what you get... Oh, and by the way the pictures on my profile are not all that new and if you want some that are more recent just let me know - I just have been so busy lately working on my thesis that I can hardly take the time to update all the stuff I should.

I relocated back to the Midwest from Florida in April 2013, and I'm so glad I did. I have not been here since I joined the Marine Corps in 1981.

I love smiles. Who wouldn't I guess. I think it is definitely our choice to be in a "Happy Place" or not. One day I just decided that I would believe the words in Alma 41: 10 (read it) ... and... in 2 Nephi 9:39 "... Spiritually Minded Is Life Eternal..." if you look at it, that spells S.M.I.L.E --- cool huh? Anyhow, I now know the Book of Mormon is true. I love it with all my heart... it literally saved my life. I will be forever grateful to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for making that possible.

Someday I hope to be married in the temple. I believe that we should treat each other with unconditional love and respect beyond measure. I look forward having loads of fun with you and doing things we enjoy together. I would really like to marry a girl who has a pretty voice and loves to sing. That is my true weakness. The girl I am searching for is very special and knows exactly what she wants out of life and love. I also know what I want and I'm willing to wait. However, I do believe I need to do my part... that is why I am here on this site. Sadly, I feel the need to state something that should go without saying, unless you are willing to follow LDS standards for dating - Keep surfing!!!

I am preparing myself daily for you. I always ask the Lord in prayer to take care of you, whoever you are, wherever you are. I love you already.

My testimony of the Gospel is second to none. I know the church is true. Heavenly Father has been very patient with me. My life has been full of special learning experiences (Apparently I'm a slow learner - but the point is I did!)... I was somewhat wild. Then a few years ago I made an about face (I was a US Marine). Through some miracles in my life, I found out that the gospel is true. I try to live by faith on Jesus Christ, love completely, and serve my brothers and sisters with all of my heart. I do this because everything I am today is because of Him. I am not perfect, and I may not be the best example of a latter day saint, but I am really trying hard to do my best each day. I have a great life, everyday is BEAUTIFUL - Beyond Description!

Oh, by the way...

I LOVE to: Take trips, go see the mountains and the oceans, see people laugh (I like to Laugh too), exercise, kiss (often), camp, skydive, watch movies on rainy days, ride roller coasters, act like a kid, play disc golf, dress up and go out dancing, go to the beach, go to church, watch the sunrise on the beach on the East Coast (Sounds pretty corny, I know - BUT it is really cool), sing, work on house projects (I can build a house), educate myself, give compliments, do service projects, and a whole bunch of other good stuff.

If you have made it this far... you can see, I am just your average guy.

If you are smiling as you read this...

Maybe even have a funny feeling in your stomach... (hopefully you aren't sick) then, maybe there is a future for us... who knows

Just, let me know

For a first date I would prefer a walk in the park
