I am a full time student. I have Bachelors in Social Science but after my two tours in Afghanistan I realized that I needed to change careers. I decided to go back to nursing school and am currently working on my pre-reqs. I love science! I am in the process of volunteering at Dornbeckers Children’s Hospital since my focus of nursing is with children cancer medicine.

I love the outdoors including shooting pistols, hunting for deer and elk with a bow. I am not a trophy hunter but actually use what I take down. I know how to fish, but haven’t been since I was younger. I love camping and hiking and I am always up for a trek when I have time.(!--(/span--)span) I go running twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a friend that I was deployed with. We run a 10-11 mins pace so if you want to join us, just let me know. It is not too hard to keep up with us!

I have two beautiful daughters ages 7 and 16. One lives close by and the other lives quite a distance away. I make time for my girls and would do anything for them. I am not opposed to having more if it feels right.

I’m not liberal and I am not conservative. I do not define myself by those kinds of titles.

When it comes to religion I don’t care what you are and I don’t think mine should matter either. I think religion in a relationship should be discussed and figured out but should not be the driving force behind your religion. The driving force should be the love and respect for each other.

We all have history, so I do not judge your past and hope that you will not judge mine. If you have questions, just ask. I am an open book. People, I think, are too quick to judge and or not learn about something or someone too quickly. I practice what I preach.(br (span="" style="background-color:yellow;")/)(br( span="") /)(/br() So what am I looking for?

I want someone who is smart and funny. I love to laugh and like to make jokes about just anything, although I know when to be serious. I think laughter is one of the great things and any chance to crack a joke should be taken.

Looks are not nearly as important as personality. I am a hopeless romantic so if a relationship happens you may get a poem or a note and flowers. My grandfather always taught me a woman should be your companion not someone you need around to sew or clean, do those things yourself, he’d say. You want her around because she is your friend, lover, and companion in life. You should go through life together as a team side by side. I try and live to this principal. I think relationship are something you have to work at. I believe chemistry is important as well.
