A really upbeat guy in medical school on the East Coast. I graduated from MIT and served a life-shaping mission to France. I love family, and am the oldest of 6. I especially love living and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
To add pizazz: If my life were on TV, it would be...
M.A.S.H--Because my mom & I waited for my Dad until a "really good episode" finished before I was born, and Dad wanted to save money (no epidural), saying "Honey, this pain will help you love him even more!" Yeah, don't do that.
The Cosby Show meets Brady Bunch--Because there are 6 kids in my naturally comic family, & I'd love to be a doctor with a Huxtable-like family and a kind, intelligent, beautiful, driven wife like Mrs. Huxtable.
The Amazing Race--Because my family has moved across the world 9x in 7 countries, I love to travel (preference: to see the world with the woman I love), & by 12yo I'd scaled the only volcano with snow on the equator, broken down on a boat on the Amazon, and studied at Shakespeare's school.
The Olympic Games--Because I love to exercise (run/lift weights), used to row crew competitively for my university, speak fluent French, and think Michael Johnson is the man because, well, he is [Usain Bolt is faster, but he's not nearly as cool as Michael with his golden Nike's]
60 Minutes--Because I like to ask the hard questions & get to the bottom of the truth, am a physician-scientist in training, voraciously follow world events/politics, and my favorite poem ('IF'-Kipling) finishes
"If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds worth of distance run
Yours is the earth and everything that's in it,
And which is more-You'll be a Man, my Son!"
If your life were a movie, it would be...
Life is Beautiful--Because you have an optimism that exceeds trials, can laugh when you are persecuted, are willing to make great sacrifice for love of family, and respond affectionately when I call you my 'Principessa'
Sleepless in Seattle--Because you, well, like a good chick-flic, enjoy cuddling, are willing to dance (with a guy who can), are a romantic at heart, won't settle, have high standards, can make witty, intelligent banter, and know how to show you mean it when you kiss
It's A Wonderful Life--Because like George Bailey, you've surrounded yourselves with good friends, make a constant effort to touch the lives of others for good, develop your talents--like mind and music--for that purpose, selflessly give service without counting the cost, never give up on your man when luck has got him down.
Legacy--From the Church film about pioneers: you choose the man you love from your heart (who will make you laugh), have a burning testimony of Christ, put motherhood and children first, are committed to building your family and marriage on a legacy of faith, & believe God has blessed you and thank him for it.
