Describing myself is not an easy task, so I'll tell you what others have said about me: compassionate, unselfish, fun, good sense of humor, good listener, devout, articulate, well-educated, forever evolving, makes a great companion. Now, as far as appearance, I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and, while I've always been described as everything from beautiful to good looking to "gee, I wish you'd let your hair grow longer," you'll have to decide for yourself.
I moved to Texas a few months ago from California, where I lived 80% of my adult life. While I miss the beauty and boundless activities available in California, I am adapting well. They say to "bloom where you are planted," and I expect to blossom any day now!
I'm looking for someone with similar interests, a solid value and spiritual foundation who will accept me as I am. I have never gone into a relationship expecting to change anyone. The ability to compromise and exchange ideas in a mature fashion is so important. Also, since I love to laugh, I'm seeking someone with a good sense of humor - doesn't have to be a joke-teller, just someone who enjoys laughter too.
Lastly, I have a strong testimony and want to grow in the church with a partner. I am a convert, although I have had friends/family who were LDS all my adult life. I may be late at the starting gate, but I'll be one of the first at the finish line.
