Hi there! Thanks for checking me out! I'll get the major baggage out of the way first. I am a divorced Dad with primary custody of my two kids. I hope that doesn't scare you off too soon. They are great kids and I'm worth getting to know too. Being a good Dad is my priority right now, so I'm not looking to jump into a serious relationship, but I am ready to start easing back into the dating scene.

So a little more about me. I moved around a lot as a kid, but I consider Nebraska home. Yes, corn fields as far as the eye can see has it's own beauty. I graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering and ended up in Charlottesville, VA working for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. I'm working on the ALMA project which is a Radio Telescope in Northern Chile, where I served my mission. I love my job.

For distractions I enjoy serving in church. I most recently have been working with the Cubscouts, which as been fun. The pinewood derby is coming up soon. My son is the reigning champion ***engineer Dad didn't help out at all ;)***. I picked up the guitar a couple years ago and taught myself some chords. I enjoy playing it and singing to my kids, although I'm not particularly good at either. I like to work out and run. Staying in shape is important to me, but it's hard to find the time right now. I spend years remodeling my house just the way I like it. I love to figure things out, and am a natural tinkerer. I'll fix it before I will throw it away. I would rather scrimp and save now so that I could have a comfortable retirement. I love to travel and see new places.
