Fun, bubbly, intelligent, devoted to family. I live in Alaska and love being with my family, both here in Alaska and Utah. I am a Primary Teacher and love my calling. I work with the local high school in Special Education.
I am a homemaker to the max and love to keep a beautiful home, bake, sew, and do projects. Travel and reading are two of my favorite past times.
I have 4 children, all grown. One is in dental school in New Jersey, another on a mission in Brazil, one marrried with two children and one single. My children and grandchildren are my world, but I'm missing a partner to share my life.
I am temple worthy but don't visit the temple as often as I'd like as it's over 4 hours away. I attend church every Sunday. Alaska is a beautiful state and definitely the last frontier but without someone to share the beauty, it can be very lonely. I live in a small town, Homer, the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World. My son in law runs a charter boat and all of my daughters have enjoyed the luxury of cleaning boats during the summer. Homer is a sleepy town during the winter but comes alive in the summer with all the tourist growing from 3,500 to about 5,000 population.
There's a lot to do here, even during the winter and the hunting is great which attracts a lot of the outdoors type. I'm no stranger to putting up a moose and chopping wood, though I would like to leave wood chopping to someone else now.
I'm looking for friendship first, hopefully leading to marriage later.
