UPDATE: A woman I met on LDSSingles.com and I have found creative ways to develop a relationship, including "virtual dates" where we each prepare the same dinner and watch the same movie, while on the phone to each other. We have also spent very many hours on the phone together. I am planning to follow this relationship through to marriage or rejection, following the advice given in the September, 2007, Ensign article "My Conversion to Eternal Marriage". I appreciate all the interactions I have had with people on this site, and am happy to remain friends with them.

I have adopted a technique that may help you be happy. When faced with decisions important(/span) to you, my approach is to search, discuss, ponder, pray, recommend, then do whatever you want. That worked in my last marriage! We had had some challenges, but that technique combined with me always trying to find ways to make her happy lead to our last three years being wonderfully joyous years.
You may have “off” days where you wake up Grumpy. (And next time tell that dwarf to stay in bed and wake up happy!) But I have the patience of Job. You cannot make me angry, not because I don’t care but because your happiness is more important to me than my happiness. I will support you through your off days, and we will have many good days.
To clarify: my idea of “sensitive” is “aware and helpful”, NOT “oversolicitous.” A lot of “sensitive” is knowing when to shut up. It is listening to you when you need a sympathetic ear, without telling you how to solve “your problem.” It is being there for you, without you asking.
I love my current calling: ward clerk without assistants. It has gloriously broad duties --- mainly to provide leaders with information they can use to better fulfill their callings, as well as to maintain financial and membership bold;")records.
I am a healthy, active man who swims, works out, and t-weight:bold;")is losing 2 pounds a week (for the past several months). I am working toward spending a long life with my companion.
