I am not a shy person, but this is awkward. Too many "I"s.
The Gospel and my family are primary in my life. I have four grown 'children' ranging from 28 to 19 and I am very proud of them, of course!
My husband died of brain cancer in 2011. I still have a lot of love to give and hopefully will marry again.
As trite as it sounds, I really enjoy meeting people, learning about them and making new friends. I have no problem visiting with a stranger who quickly becomes my friend.
I'm a curious person, and like to learn about people. I am often spontaneous and apparently, sometimes excitable (My kids would tell you that I sometimes talk with my hands.) I find humor in the most benign situations....but I don't tell many jokes.
Many things are interesting to me and I hope to share new sights, sounds, travels and experiences with someone special.
I would like to start traveling more.
I am pretty even tempered and try not to sweat the small stuff. It is wasted time and energy to 'fuss' over small things!
I like reading, eating out, going to movies, plays, museums, parks and "events" (such as a Pow-Wow or historical re-enactment). I love the mountains, love German Shepherds and horses and hope to start riding again.
