Hello, I am entering the single scene after 21 years of marriage, and I'm finding many of you are also in similar situations. While there is some trepidation to starting over again, I believe there are many wonderful, good and genuine people with whom to connect and share this journey.

About me? I think I am an emotionally balanced person-- I try to be physically healthy, temperamentally gentle and happy, very affectionate, and spiritually mature. I believe it is important to develop one's intellect, social skills, and emotional empathy. Ethos, pathos, logos, right? Aristotle nailed it. I like to have intelligent, provocative conversations and I appreciate a quick wit and good sense of humor. Life can be a roller coaster and the happiest people at the end of the ride are those who are resilient and adaptable.

Some things experience has taught me: 1. the secret to happiness lies in being service oriented instead of pleasure-seeking, 2. aligning my life to the gospel of Jesus Christ ensures safety and peace, 3. Making and keeping sacred covenants is the key to personal and spiritual power and 4. I am most comfortable around the humble followers of Christ.

Generally I am a playful person and laugh easily. My family has a tradition of gentle teasing, and one can't be easily offended. I love people and think that although there may be billions of individuals here on earth, everyone is a miracle and deserving of love.

I am excited to meet other single people and learn from them and I am eager to garner all the good advice I can from all of you wise sages.

I am sure you have led a full and interesting life and I can't wait to hear all about it--what makes you the way you are...experiences that have shaped you into a well-rounded person who has depth, integrity and strength of character. I'm certain you are compassionate and kind, most people genuinely are. I want to hear about how you gained your testimony and what your family means to you.
