I'm a North Carolina girl, and I'm finishing up grad school to become a Speech Therapist :) I have a strong testimony of the gospel. I love the beach, BYU football, movies in the theater, and a hike with a good view!
So I'll start with school stuff because that's my life right now, haha. I graduated from BYU in 2013 (Go Cougars!). I am currently attending grad school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist (feel free to ask me what an SLP is, exactly). I'll be completing an internship in a hospital, and I'm super excited about it. I'll graduate in May of 2015, so the end is in sight! Oh, and by the way...I think I have the coolest job in the world :)
I do want to take a second to say that as much as I love speech therapy, I am so excited for the opportunity to be a mom someday! Family is everything. I have two younger sisters and a huge extended family that I love! I think my education will help me to better teach and love my own future kiddos, which is part of the reason I chose this field in the first place.
The gospel is extremely important to me, as I have a strong, personal testimony that it's true. In the long run I'm looking for a worthy priesthood holder with an unshakable testimony of the gospel, who makes it a priority to live his beliefs daily. This is one quality that I'm not going to compromise on. I serve in the young women's presidency in my stake, and love it. Although I know I'm far from perfect, I try my best every day to do what's right.
I'm looking to get to know someone who lives and loves the gospel, values family, understands the importance of an education, and likes to have fun all at the same time. I love to laugh and have a good time. I seriously appreciate guys who are upfront and will take the lead in showing interest (and then I'll be sure to reciprocate). Although marriage is a future priority, I would also really enjoy getting to know a guy on a more casual basis for the fun of getting to know someone (does that make sense?). I love to do thoughtful things for people I care about, and I'm great at long distance communication...my best friends live across the country ;)
Oh, and I have a little sister who's currently at BYU...so visits to UT come about every now and then :)
Feel free to send me a smile or a message if you have any questions, I'm all about meeting new people!
