Hellen Keller once remarked, "life is either a daring adventure--or nothing." I am inclined to agree, and try to live life around that motto. For me, such adventures often take the form of literary excursions (though I love hiking in the backwoods as well!). I am alway trying to get my hands on thought-provoking reading material. A few favorites are Harper Lee, Dostoevsky, Chaim Potok, Faulkner and Hugo. I love puns (a little too much:-) and any word games available!
I consider myself a fairly open-minded individual and love experiencing others cultures--whether it be attending a Quaker meeting or enjoying a night out sampling ethnic foods! I am currently working on my graduate degree in early American History at William and Mary, and love visiting historical sights. More than anything, I am a firm believer that everyone has a story just waiting to be told. If this makes me a hopeless romantic--than so be it!
