I was born in Brazil and my ancestors came from Germany, Italy and Japan. I came to the US in 1992 and got BA from BYU in fine arts (emphasis in oil painting) and then from The Ohio State University. I decided to go back to school when the kids were a little older. I love to spend time with my family and friends. My children are 16 (girl) and 13 (boy) years old. Family is very important to me.
I like to dress up, to be pampered with massages, to do my nails, play the piano, sing but I also like camping, hiking, jogging, working on home improvement projects - I can tile, lay laminate flooring, paint etc
I also like movies, traveling and volunteer work. I went to Nicaragua in 2011 and Bolivia 2012 to do free eye exams. I loved it, plus l love learning new cultures and meeting new people. The kids and I will be moving to Laredo, TX for a job in June. From what I understand, Laredo is as close to Mexico as it can be, but in the US :) Even the culture it's pretty Mexican. We are excited to learn Spanish and make new friends.
I was born and raised in the church. My testimony and my family and friends' support have helped me in difficult times. The church is a big part of my life and I don't see that changing.
Things I have learned from life is to be more compassionate and forgiving. I asked my friends what they think may qualities are and they said I'm outgoing, compassionate, organized, determined and want to live life to its fullest.
I was married for 16 yrs and single now for about 3 yrs. I figured it's time for me to start meeting new people...
I would love to find someone to share my life with and I would love to serve a mission with him.
bucket-list:
learn how to ride a horse, to read the notes to sing, to scuba diving and to use the wheel to make ceramic pots.
