I am a single mom to an 8 yr old girl who is 5 years in remission of Leukemia. Just felt like getting that out there first..hopefully it doesn't scare you off. Before she got sick I taught middle school science in downtown Kansas City and didn't have the best experience (mostly due to the admin.). I went back to school and got my Nursing degree and am a registered nurse. I tutor biology at the local community college a couple hours twice a week. I went to college, for my undergrad, on a bowling scholarship and love to go when I can. I have a masters degree in education as well and feel that we should never stop learning. I also love photography, crafts, and most things outdoors. I am fairly new to the church, baptized in Feb. 2009, and love learning about Christ and Heavenly Father's plan for us. Essentially I am looking for someone who knows what he wants and has goals in life, has a sense of humor but knows when to be serious, loves the church and will help me grow in my knowledge and understanding of the gospel, and be a good role model and father figure in my daughter's life.
