I'm originally from a tiny town in WA state, that has a HUGE chicken egg on a pedestal in the middle of town.
I can get along with almost any personality. I am easy going, extremely upbeat, overly positive in any situation- which may be annoying at times, and can find humor in any situation: good or bad (if its the latter- I am subtle... :)
I have been known to make new friends in the restrooms of random restaurants. I love people: getting to know them, hearing about their pasts, trials, and experiences.
I am extremely loyal, honest, overly loving, and constantly touching people. I laugh all the time- including in my sleep- true story! I am smiling and winking constantly at people. I remember being at the MTC and it was dinner time. My companion and I sat at the table right next to the dinner line. I had a roll in one hand, a fork in the other hand, while I was consuming my food- all at the same time (not my most dignifying moment.) An Elder had approached me with a simple "Hello", being unable to address him back or even wave... I simply nodded, smiled and winked at him. While the Elder passed me, I had overheard him say to his companion, "A Sister just winked at me...what do I do???"
At some point in my life I was able to recite the whole screenplay to the "Neverending Story". I randomly use movie references in my everyday language. I love movies- any kind, especially action, comedy, and I love a good horror/zombie flick. As a teenager, my sister and I had watched ALL of the Puppet Master movies and the Leprechaun movies- I think we enjoyed torchering ourselves, I don't think we were able to finish Leprechaun from Space or the Hood- can't remember, it was so cheesy, we contemplated putting a fork in our eye! It was that painful... I do like the occasional chick flick, but have never made/ask the opposite sex to watch it with me. I do enjoy the Twilight movies- but will flat out deny it. I will admit that I tend to like movies/shows that are rather rude and crude and are definitely not appropriate by LDS standards. (Example "Beerfest") Movies and music are my weaknesses. I love going to music concerts- I haven't been to one in a while and have really been missing that! I also love the theater: plays, classical music, musicals, operas, etc. I love to go to baseball games. I can't understand the rules of football at all! However, I do enjoy watching it. Maybe I just need a good teacher to teach me how to understand the sport! I would rather watch a sport in person than on the TV.
The best feeling is coming home from church, making a nice homemade meal and being with my family. The knowledge of this church/gospel is extremely important to me. I have had many wonderful experiences and growth come because of my membership in Christ's church. I have had some crazy callings in the past, and I have realized how important it is to have support and unconditional love when the Lord calls you to be about his work. I have had many wonderful experiences in regards to this eternal gospel. I hold it very dear and sacred to my heart, I love sharing my testimony with others in the right time and moment, and when the spirit directs.
I have been a military spouse for 10 years, I loved everything about that lifestyle: the moving, new people, fresh beginnings, trials, personal growth. In the past I have lived in Idaho, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and now Utah. With my personality I am extremely understanding, patient, and supportive. I have many love languages, my big one would have to be genuine service. I am always serving my loved ones and those around me. I have been a homemaker for the past 8 years taking care of home, raising my 2 kids, family matters, and being a continual support to my then husband. I do have a license is cosmetology and I'm currently in the process of having my own business.
I love to be outdoors as well. I am equipped and knowledgable on how to put a worm on a hook, and being able to gut and clean a fish without cringing. Now, getting the hook out of the fish is a complete other story! I may need some assistance with that.
I am in the process of learning how to play guitar and trying to overcome a childhood fear of ice skating- it has always terrified me as a kid!
