I graduated from BYU with a degree in English. My philosophy, though, is that as long as you KNOW the rules of English, you're allowed to break whichever ones you want. I enjoy books, writing, movies, video games, books (it's worth another mention), crossword puzzles, and the occasional logic puzzle. I love people, and thrive on making them happy. Photography is my unofficial hobby, and I can totally take you in Guitar Hero and/or Rock Band. I'll do just about anything for some really good barbecued ribs, and I drink more milk than likely any person you've ever known.
Currently, I'm living in Provo, working at a marketing firm as a survey analyst and video editor (unfortunately, more survey analysis than video editing lately). I honestly never thought I'd end up in Provo long-term, and I was actually planning on moving back to Alabama (where I grew up) after graduating from BYU, but I just had this feeling that Provo is where I was/am supposed to be at the moment. I don't know where I'll finally end up. I'm pretty open to living just about anywhere, so long as I'm with people I care about, you know?
As for what I'm looking for, I'm still not absolutely sure of that myself. I guess the most important thing is someone I can talk to and with whom I can have intelligent conversation about just about anything, but still joke about things. I know, I know, it sounds generic, but it's more specific in my head; it's just hard to articulate.
I definitely want to be a dad someday. I'm the youngest of 7 kids, and I've got 15 nephews and nieces who I absolutely adore, and I have a strong desire to have my own family. Don't take that as me having a mindset of "I have to get married, and I have to do it NOW!" because that's not necessarily the case. It's just a goal I have that will happen when it's supposed to.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. If you're at all interested, even in just friendship, drop me a line.
