Hello, my name is Beth. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I'm originally from Ohio. (Xenia, Fairborn, Beavercreek areas, but born in Sandusky) I have family back in Ohio. I am middle of 7 kids. I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. (39yrs old to 19yrs old) I have 10 nieces and nephews and one on the way. Although my family is in Ohio I have no idea where life will take me, but it has currently brought me to BYU Idaho. I have one more semester then I'll be finishing up my second associates degree in Medical Assisting. First one was General Studies.
I am also a massage therapist. Graduated from UCMT in SLC in 05. I love doing massage, but I decided I wasn't done with my education and came back to BYUI a year ago.
I have a few talents, but that is not my favorite subject to talk about. I think I used to be more rowdy and spontaneous but in the right setting I can be persuaded to do some fun activities or pranks. I get easily embarrassed for others as well as for myself. I really like talking with my friends and telling them all about my day. I think I have the funnest time when I can sit around with my friends and talk in our silly accents (not baby talk...that drives me nuts). Or maybe second to talking with friends is sitting at a piano with my sister and singing songs she plays. I also love singing along to the radio. I like most popular music and my favorite pandora station I have created includes lots of ingrid michaelson and joshua radin and things like that. Easy listening. I do love country, but really, I like most music if I'm in the mood for it. Most times I'm in the mood for popular music though.
***new section June 6 update. I just feel like I should mention... I have been walking around campus more often lately. Particularly passing the field. It's been reminding me how much I miss sports. Growing up I played soccer, softball, volleyball and basketball. I'm a huge fan of team sports and going to watch family members play to support them. I love watching high school and college football. It's always better in person. I did get a chance to watch a preseason NFL game a few years back. Bengals vs Colts. That was pretty cool. Front row behind the colts bench. I guess ..take that how you want. I'm not any sort of fanatic for sports but I appreciate good competition and a cheering rowdy crowd.****
I'm usually better with a conversation than written small talk introductions. Feel free to say hi and I'll tell you a few more stories about my life or the crazy people in my life. I love my family but they have kept my journal and life full of stories and crazy times.
