Hi,

I am trying this approach to meeting people with similar values and interests. While I currently live in the Southeastern US, I am from the West Coast (I have lived in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Utah and Washington state) and would be interested in heading back to the West when I finish my current teaching assignment. While the ultimate goal would be to find a wonderful companion, it's important to begin as friends.

I am basically a relaxed and happy person, and enjoy good company, friendship, laughs, and easy-going times. I enjoy travel and have seen several countries and learned a lot about different cultures. While I enjoy good cuisine -- the best part is sharing it with those you care about. My happiest times are often "table time" with family and friends. I love my work, my family, my friends, travel opportunities, and being outside. I prefer warm weather to cold, and love to take walks on the beach or among the trees. I enjoy reading, listening to music, good movies, and spending quality time with those who are close to me. I enjoy watching the sunrise ... there is something promising about each new day. I also enjoy evening walks, sunsets, and great conversation. I am a creative person, and enjoy creating watercolors and wearable art.

Basically, I love life. We are here to have a full range of experiences and learn from them. I know I haven't said a lot about the gospel, but that's a given on this site. I have a very active spiritual life and try to live my best every day.

I appreciate that we are all finding ourselves in situations we may not have expected in earlier times in our lives, and it's always a risk to put yourself "out there," but I always appreciate those willing to take a risk.
