Hi, I'm Lisa. I'm a doctoral student in biology, I love people and burritos, I prefer having fun and making memories to watching movies, *insert MY username here* (Hopefully, you understood that. If not, just pretend that you did. It'll make me feel better about myself.)
One of my friends once told me that all I talk about is bacteria and Habakkuk. That's probably not true, but I do love those two topics. I am a graduate student studying photosynthetic bacteria (BACTERIA!) and I mostly love it, but my true career-related love is teaching. I really like to learn and think about the ways that I can help other people to learn. Besides teaching biology, I recently taught an Institute class on the Old Testament (HABAKKUK!) and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life.
As far as a relationship, I mostly just enjoy guys that are funny and clever and like talking to me. Also, I'm pretty excited about the gospel, so I'd like someone who is into that.
Other stuff about me: I grew up in Madison, WI, then moved to Utah and graduated from BYU, worked for a couple of years at a biotech company (AMAZING coworkers, boring job), and now I'm here in Bloomington, IN for graduate school.
I have two amazing parents, three crazy (in the best way) brothers, two wonderful and fun (in the VERY best way) sister-in-laws, and the most adorable nephew in the world.
Feel free to message me! I'm really bad about accidentally leaving my computer on and not seeing IMs until many hours later. Then I feel terrible. Basically, if I don't respond to IMs, please don't be offended, just send me a message!
