***Thank you for your interest, but I'm currently dating someone I met on this site. Good luck! ***
My name is Shannon and I'm originally from Alaska but live in Madison, Wisconsin for a job with an electronic health record software company. I graduated from BYU and I'm a very active member.
I'm not thrilled with my current options for men, so I decided to go online to broaden the scope of people I meet. I travel somewhat frequently, both for work and personally, so I'm not ruling anyone out because of distance.
I am extremely clean, I love cooking and reading, and I'm fairly adventurous - I'll try anything at least once, although I don't promise to like it. I'm pretty calm and easy-going, and I love to just go out and do whatever.
My interests are all over the place, as I grew up in Alaska doing a lot of outdoor activities and then studied in Paris for a while and ended up loving high culture as well. I love playing all kinds of sports and doing active things like hiking and floating rivers, going on long walks or camping. I also love going to museums or plays or spending time looking at old buildings and monuments. I'm not as much into pop culture, but can still enjoy it from time to time.
I'm looking for someone who I can admire and connect with on an intellectual, spiritual, and emotional level. He needs to be a very dedicated member of the church who doesn't just go through a lot of the motions, but really lives the gospel. I'm also very particular about cleanliness, so if you're messy I'm not for you.
I take good care of my body with exercise and cleanliness and am very particular about clothes, and I am looking for this in a potential companion as well. I believe the way you take care of your body reflects how you feel about yourself.
I am both intelligent and quick-witted and have dedicated a lot of my life to learning about many aspects of life and am looking for someone with a similar emphasis on learning and personal growth.
I am dedicate to the Savior and His church and believe in living the gospel fully. I don't ever swear. I don't watch R-rated movies. I'm not okay with skipping meetings every once in a while, or in putting forth minimal effort for a calling. I know that everyone struggles and is not perfect, but having the right attitude and direction in life is a must. We are all trying to be better (hopefully) but having the same beliefs, even in the church, is key.
