My name is AJ and I'm what I would call a jack of all trades but master of none. I have more hobbies than I know what to do with. I enjoy sewing, skiing (though I'm not very good at it), paint balling, art, reading, writing, science, you name it I probably love it. Spending time outdoors is my favorite pass time. You can't go wrong with the great outdoors.

I also have an interest in different cultures. I would one day like to be able to speak several different languages and visit the countries that I learn about. Right now I'm working on German.

Family by far is the most important thing to me in the world. They would have to be considering that my family and I moved from Alaska to Texas so we could spend more time with our extended family, ha. Anyway, you could basically say that because of my family my dream is to just have one of my own. Corny I know but what can you do?

Religion is also something that is very important to me. Which again, could not have happened without my family. I'm getting out of a rough patch in my life and if it weren't for the church and my family I wouldn't be who I am today. And obviously I'm looking for someone who feels the same way.

I can't say I'm an expert at dating, obviously I need help otherwise you wouldn't be reading this ;) I would however like to say that I don't believe in age when it comes to dating. I firmly believe that maturity is more important and people can be very compatible despite age gaps.

I decided to finally join this site ,not because I'm desperate or anything, just because I have been to old fashioned for too long. I have been waiting for prince charming to come and find me but now I believe it's time for me to go out and find him. I read something the other day that basically sums up how I feel: "stop waiting for your prince to find you. Go out and look for him, he's probably stuck in a tree somewhere." In summary, I'm just ready to take the next step in my life.
